Why we must eat cabbage

  Cabbage, a very common vegetable, has some unknown healthy properties.

 


It contains: vitamin A, vitamin C, complex of vitamins B, vitamin E, vitamin U, calcium, potassium, iron, silicon and chlorophyll.








Healthy properties of  cabbage


  Because it contains vitamin U, the cabbage helps in healing stomach ulcers and to maintain digestiv system healthy.

  The anemy is treatable if we eat cabbage because it contains iron and chlorophyll, which helps increasing the production of hemoglobin. So, the cabbage has antianaemic properties.

  Another propriety of this vegetable is that revitalises and reduces the high level of stress because of its antioxidant substances. Because of this antioxidant vitamins like vitamin A, vitamin E or C, beta carotene, selenium the cabbage helps in fighting of organism with noxious factors which harm our organism and it helps at the transformation of tryptophan in serotonin.

  The cabbage has a diuretic and an anticancer action, fighting in particular against colon cancer.

  Internal, cabbage is used in case of alcoholism, bronchitis and rheumatoid disorders.

  External, it used in case of: abscesses, varices, varicose ulcers, acne or boils.

  There are some peoples that has a problem in digesting much slower the raw cabbage. That's why you can consume cabbage like fresh juice with carrots  or turnips.
