 The main symptoms of acute tonsillitis

In the first phase appears a burning sensation in the throat, followed by pain and the inflammation of the tonsils. Usually, the disease first appears at one tonsil and then it spreads out to the other one or even to the all throat, affecting the pharynx. Because of the burning sensation and pain, the patient can't eat or drink and his state of being is deteriorating.

  Once that the first pus point appears, we'll see that it starts even the fever and the chills.

     Natural treatment of acute tonsillitis

  In the first phase of infection, when the burning sensation is showing up, you can drink warm tee with lemon and honey, a spoon of honey, or all kinds of medical natural drugs made from sage which disinfects the throat.You can drink milk with honey and one raw quail egg or hen (chicken) for releasing from the burning sensation.

  Useful in this stage are the pills with plant and propolis or the administration of propolis tincture, 5 to 10 drops, mixed with honey. You must take this mixture a few times a day.

  Another way to treat the pains and the burning sensation is to apply warm cornstarch around your neck. You must make a cornstarch and put it on a towel. When you can accept the temperature of the cornstarch you must roll the towell apply it around your neck. It has to stay there until is cold. If you want to use it again you must put it on the microwaves. The same method is used with a raw potato sliced very thin and splashed with some drops of vinegar. Put it on a towel and keep it until gets cold.

  Vinegar can be used by it self, diluted with some water for massaging the neck from a ear to the other.

     Homeopath treatment of acute tonsillis

  The fever and the pain is cured with belladonna ch 30, which must be taken from 4 to 4 hours for 24 hours and then 3 times a day. Belladonna is used for high level of fever, painful  and red throat., in tonsillitis, pharyngitis, angine, otitis  with high fever.

  For the treatement of the pains, burning sensations and pus points you must take from 4 in 4 hours phytolacca, apis melifica and mercurius solubillis Ch 7. The little children must take 3 drops, the children much bigger must take 4 drops and the adults 5.

  If acute tonsillitis is caused by hemolytic streptococcus then may appear complications as joints or heart rheumatism.

  If the pus is extending to the tissues nearby it can form abscesses or peritonsillar phlegmons. that must be opened by a surgeon.
