Ingrown nails-natural treatment

  


  Ingrown nails are very disturbing and thinking that we must go to a surgeon for treating it,  it scares us.








   Usually, it appears because of our mistake in cutting our nail.


  For reducing the risk of nail's infection we must to have a rigorous hygiene of our feet and manicure tools, before and after cutting the  nails.

  The nail must be cut after you had a bath in warm water .

  The shoes are very important. It must be chosen in order to fit well our let, not forcing the nail to grow in the inside. Is better to go shopping for shoes in the evening because then, our feet are inflated and we don't risk to choose a pare of shoes that will not fit well when we'll stay longer with them.

  If, the nail is ingrown, here are some natural methods to treat it.


   4 Methods for treating ingrown nails

  1. If your nail is ingrown, fill a basin or even the bath, with warm water and 5 spoons of coarse salt. Hold your feet into the warm salted water for 30 minutes. The flesh, the zone around wounded nail will soften and then, it will be easier to cut the corner of the nail. Salt disinfects and hurries the healing.

  2. In the same way, you put your feet into warm water and, when the zone around the wounded nail is softened, with a toothpick you push in  a little bit of cotton-wool infused in  disinfectant solution as alcohol or extract of propolis or another disinfectant.

  3. Pack your wounded nail with a leaf of cabbage with the ribs crushed. Over the cabbage leaf put a pledget. Change it a few times a day. Guaranteed, in 2 days is healed.

  4. A last solution is to massage the nail with ointment of marigold, a few times a day untill the wound is clean and you can cut well the corner of your nail.
